a-ha（アーハ）は、ノルウェー出身のモートン・ハルケット（Vo）、ポール・ワークター＝サヴォイ（G)、マグネ・フルホルメン（Key,G)の3人組バンド。

'84年（正確には'85年の再リリース版）のデビュー曲"Take On Me (テイク・オン・ミー)"は当時流行った軽快なリズムとスモーキーで伸びのあるモートンのヴォーカルが魅力で一気にブレイクしました。

特にスティーブ・バロン制作による実写とロトスコープのアニメーションの融合はミュージック・ビデオの価値を広げた名作だと思います('∇')

スティーブ・バロンによる続編的な"The Sun Always Shines On T.V. "、系譜を受け継いだ"Train Of Thought"とアートワークに準拠したモノトーンを貴重としたMVはa-haのカラーを決定付けましたね。

またタイトル・トラックの"Hunting High And Low"はa-haが単なるポップ・アーティストでは無いという芸術性を魅せた情感豊かな１曲だったと思います。

これがあったからこそ後に映画『007 リビング・デイライツ』（The Living Daylights）で起用されたんじゃないかな？

再結成を記念してリリースされた30周年記念盤は25周年記念盤にアルバム未収録シングル・バージョンや未発表となったオルタネイト・ミックスによる『ハンティング・ハイ・アンド・ロウ』等貴重な音源、そしてDVDには当時のMVが収録されてます。

個人的には'84年版の"Take On Me"が懐かしかったです！('∇')
